I was preparing some artwork (The 12-30 project, #211 – July 30 ) for an upcoming exhibit and I clicked the emboss filter – almost by accident. And here it popped up – a next to perfect representation of a (topological) 4D perspective of a Klein bottle – from the outside looking in. Thanks @Mathematica, and thanks #Richard Bennigan for the original script.
Off to Transylvania! # 270. Sept 28.
This image is about the stalagmite principle. It is used to study and visualize the probability for the blue and the grey squares of being the target color. Appropriate for a Physics of Advanced Material conference…
Late updating. But my work was there for me… #211, July 30. Three little Klein bottles on the Lisbon bridge.
The 12-30 project is off to the land of the Kalevala! A fitting environment for this orthoplex series [# 146, Month of May)
An updated version of [# 128 – month of May ] was in Vienna last week!
Hungarian music for the opening. Lots of good – non-Euclidian work nearby, people that have worked on exploring Symmetry for their entire career, the Tiergarten nearby – quite a treat!
The 12-30 project, animated HD for the month of November “Current Sangaku” – is now on Vimeo. Images of the sequence were originated in Geogebra. Additional credits: Yutaka Yamada, Derek & Brandon Flechter for the music.
The 12-30 project is going to Jyväskylä this August!
Left a 16-cell polytope, right a seven symmetry hyperbole. Original plates – the 12-30 project – 05-08, 05-26.
