Netlogo – How do you visualize numbers? Numbers are abstract symbols. The interplay of numbers addition/multiplication/division creates a pattern that becomes a tangible image. In this work we are taking 50 spheres and divide them by five. Where will they end up in a diagram of 1 to 5 strips? The model distributes the work of finding a solution among dividends and divisors and the strips take turns trying to distribute the circles evenly. From an original concept by Ted Kaehler and Josh Unterman.
